Spot Gets a New Start

Spot is a 7 year old Yellow Lab. His owner turned him in to the Hillside when he realized he could not afford to provide medical care for Spot. After a vet appointment, it was determined Spot needed to have his tail amputated. It was severely infected and the operation needed to be done immediately. With this amputation, his life will be pain free and about to get much better!

Spot’s operation and veterinary care will be covered by Joe and Caroline’s Fund, the fund that your support enables us to help animals in desperate need like Spot and so very many others that come through our doors. Each time Joe and Caroline’s Fund steps up, it takes your support once again to help replenish the funds so that we can continue the vital mission this fund was created for – saving the lives of innocent animals in need.

We ask for your thoughts for Spot during his struggles and thank you for your continuing support of the Hillside SPCA and the work we do. If you would like to be part of helping animals in need, a gift to Joe and Caroline’s Spay/Neuter and Emergency Fund would be deeply appreciated. Any size gift helps so very much. You can DONATE easily on-line or you can mail your gift marked clearly for Joe and Caroline’s Fund to Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Once he comes through his operation,, Spot will be available for adoption! Contact us if interested in visiting or adopting Spot!!
