Our late Executive Director, Barbara Umlauf started The Fund in memory of her two children, Joe and Caroline, and worked tirelessly to promote and raise funds for it. It was her dying wish that the fund live on and that it continues to benefit from the generosity and support of animal lovers everywhere while saving countless lives of animals in need.
